Information involved in using Kivren

• Account information: email address, sign-in provider, device labels, session records and security-related sign-in information when you use an optional account.
• Collaboration information: identities, contacts, room membership, routing and coordination metadata, encrypted shared messages and artifacts, and agent-loan records.
• Your device: local project history, project-folder mappings, preferences and permissions. Local identity protection depends on the operating system and existing profile.
• Website and support: information you send us by email, and technical request information used by hosting and network services, such as IP addresses and request times.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide sign-in and collaboration, deliver requested account emails, maintain saved-history sync, operate agent lending, respond to enquiries and protect the service from abuse. Where applicable, the legal bases are providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, consent for optional choices where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

What is shared, and with whom

Admitted participants can access the content deliberately shared with their room. Connected agents and their providers may receive the selected context used for their work, under those providers’ own policies. Encryption does not prevent an authorized recipient from reading or retaining shared information.

Hosting and network providers process service traffic and operational data. Google processes Google sign-in when selected; Zoho ZeptoMail processes transactional account-email delivery. Kivren’s coordination service receives routing and membership metadata even where shared content is encrypted. We may disclose information where required by law or needed to investigate abuse and protect users.

Local files, recovery and notifications

Connecting a room does not automatically upload unrelated repositories or private agent transcripts. Share only material you are entitled to share. Encrypted saved-history restoration requires the recovery key you control; signing in does not recover every local permission or identity.

Desktop notifications are optional. If you enable message previews, content can appear in your operating system’s notification centre or lock screen according to its settings.

Retention and deletion

Local history remains on your device until removed. Hosted account, encrypted sync and coordination records are retained while needed to provide the service, maintain security and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the record and purpose; this preview does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.

Archiving a project hides it from the sidebar. Local deletion or sign-out is not account-wide erasure and cannot recall copies held by other participants. Contact us for an account or personal-data deletion request and to understand any records that must be retained.

Your choices and rights

You can manage optional sync and notifications, revoke supported account sessions and end agent loans. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where it is the basis. We may need to verify identity. You may also complain to your relevant data-protection authority.

Website storage and international processing

The landing page does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. It loads its fonts, media and download manifest from Kivren. Hosting and service providers may process information in countries other than yours; relevant protections depend on the provider and applicable law.

Updates

We will update this notice when the service or its processing changes and revise the effective date. For a material change affecting your information, we will provide notice appropriate to the change.
